Planning any special event, whether it’s a family bbq or your wedding, is a big deal. We will work with you to plan a menu and décor that makes you excited and relaxed knowing you’re in good hands. If Osprey Village is your wedding destination, then you will enjoy 25% off the Service Fee we offer if booking at South Bonson Community Centre. Or come to our stomping grounds and we’ll host your private party in our waterfront venue, with no booking fee required.

At Stomping Grounds, we specialize in customizing menus; consider us your one stop shop for your event needs. Our team of event planners, décor specialists and talented chefs will help bring your vision life and be a true reflection of you. Whether it’s a corporate function, a private party, or the wedding of your dreams, we have you covered.

We start every relationship with a free in person consultation and when booking your wedding with us, you will enjoy a free tasting. As your one stop shop, we can help you with your rental needs, décor, centerpieces, bar services, set up, clean up and day of coordination. We work with you to keep your day stress free!

Services available:

  • We start every relationship with a free in-person consultation
  • Sample Tastings for Weddings ($30/person) when booked with us. Should you decide to book, we will credit your invoice ($60 value)
  • Host private parties at our Cafe with no room booking fee! Our indoor capacity is 20 guests. Including the Patio, we can serve up to 50 guests in the Spring and Summer.
  • To book the Café (After hours only), we kindly require a minimum guest count of 15 guests and a minimum spend of $40 for food (excluding drinks) per guest. Customized menus available, buffets, plated, or cocktail parties!
  • As a full service caterer, we can help with décor services, bartenders, additional servers, set up, clean up and full day of coordination! We customize your quote to suit your event so it is a true reflection of your vision!

Anahi’s most memorable memories of her childhood and family are often surrounded by great food and laughs. Whether it was going with her grandfather for Sunday brunch every week in Peru, or making a large family feast with her family, preparing fresh, quality food has always been a passion shared by everyone in her family. Food is often what creates memories, and that is why opening Stomping Grounds has grown into such a incredibly passion for her. Seeing customers enjoying her homemade creating is truly and honour and a joy to watch. She is grateful for a talented team who are all commitment to exceptional customer service, Anahi looks forward to creating and working every day at her Stomping Grounds, to make new memories for our stomping grounds friends and customers.

Emily has been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, starting from greeting customers to managing restaurants. Emily loves socializing and working with outgoing, creative people. Her zest for events, bartending and event planning lead her to Stomping Grounds where she is excited to continue her career in the industry that she knows and loves. Booking Questions


How do I confirm a booking?

  • At Stomping Grounds, we work with you one on one to create a menu that suits your event.
  • No event is ever the same so our contract ensures that we provide the best service and food possible while meeting your expectations for your event, big or small.
  • All caterings are confirmed once the Catering contract has been signed by all parties and a minimum of a 25% deposit has been provided (unless another amount has been requested and agreed upon).
  • Please refer to the Deposit and Cancellation section for details. Should you have any questions, regarding this contract, please do not hesitate to call or email us directly.
  • A 25% non refundable deposit of total bill is due at the time of booking. Another 50% of bill is due no later than 5 days prior to the event. Remaining balance is due the day of event.
  • We accept Bank drafts, Debit, Visa or MasterCard. All cheques must be payable to “Stomping Grounds Café & Catering Inc.” If a payment s received and a payment bounces, there will be a $30.00 fee applied to final bill. 2% Finance charge is also added to overdue bills per month.

When are final guest counts required?

  • Final guest count must be received no later than 14 business days prior to the event. We will do our best to accommodate last minute charges; we cannot guarantee availability.

When are rentals confirmed?

  • Rentals will be finalized a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event.
  • We will try our best to accomodate last minute changes but cannot be guaranteed.
  • If any equipment, supplies, any rentals (including plates, and cutlery) are damaged or missing, we reserve the right to charge for the replacement of these items.
  • Replacement cost is 10 x the Rental charge unless otherwise stated on quote/contract notes. For example if a mug is .42 cents, replacement cost is $4.20. This applies as a per item cost. The replacement cost is outlined by Stomping Grounds.
  • The invoice will be sent to the contract holder within 2 weeks of the event. The amount is due upon receipt.
